Probably not, I like Motley Crue, But I'm thinking I still want to be Ace from Detroit.
Funny how that tolerance and patience thing wears down, although living in Laredo, my tolerance and patience sometimes increases the farther north I go, but then quickly dwindles away as I approach any place of populace.

LMAO Mustang, my tolerance is better down south. You send me north and I become hostile.

YEah, I'm mainly talking about Laredo, lol.
In the truck, I'm typically in check.
But driving down hear in my car, my road rage comes out with all I have built up. I'm cussing, flipping people off, and driving my fancy Lincoln down Mines road to get to the terminal around all them truck drivers...

Laredo has always been bad, pretty much you toss the rule book out.
Not a straight road in this whole town.
But that drive from San Antonio or from Eagle Pass down here, with all them ruffneck oilfield workers, compounds it.
Forget stopping in a truck stop on the way down with all the Vac Trucks and Pneumatics.
Won't even bring up the language barrier.

MPG, ha, I'm Joplin bound after time off, just for that, MPG.
Mine is in the tank, or out of the tank.
I have a APU truck, I drive 62 mph, or less lately, and can't get in mid sixes.
Kept thinking it was the weather, the wind, the heavy loads, but 10,000#'s @ 57 mph across Ga to Tx with no wind to speak of, and got maybe 6.8.
Not good, half way wouldn't bother me, but I have that pet pass thing, and don't want to lose my extra penny.

I've got a Freightliner with a Detroit, APU, I'm typically in bottom 7's real high 6's.
My idle time is next to nothing, and Out of Route is less than 3% for 2012, 2.1% for 2011.
Had a injector or 2 that were miss firing last year, just about the same time, was like driving in a headwind all the time.
Now, I've still got the power, but can't do anything to keep fuel mileage from falling. Almost a shudder/vibration, or miss under load though.

Goofy set up, I have to run the apu to keep the bunk heater going in the cold.
If I don't run the APU to charge batteries, Bunk heater will kick off with low voltage shut off in about 2 hours.
That coupled with 50+ mph winds in Wyoming, 10 degree days, and below zero nights, and shutting down for a day, put me on that trip into the high 5's.
Seemed like anywhere I was in past 3 months, had 40k and 25 mph winds on avg., anything but a tailwind affects this truck in a negative way.
This truck has never been a fuel mileage queen, upper 70% for Freightliners at its best 3 month avg.
I have no desire to give this truck up, I think I will have it into another winter. Those KW's and Cornbinders get better MPG's, but don't care to ever drive a tag axle truck.
But also not buying fuel either.
Freightliner in Joplin was good last time,Hate to lose the time, but gotta be fixed.
Freightliner in Laredo has gone down hill, last time it took days to get a clutch switch replaced, they did everything but.
