Habitual??? I haven't commented on a Conway/CFI thread in a VERY long time. And I've always promoted them as a good starter company when I have.

It's you guys who are habitual stalkers of the threads. Attacking anyone who happens to point out any issue, if it reflects badly on the company.

The OP....isn't getting layover. But maybe he/she is and doesn't know it. I'm basing my response, on his/her original comments.

Your comments, will be weighed by his/her paycheck next pay period.....not my response to his/her original post. Then....he/she can determine for themselves.

Anything I miss ??? Oh, layover pay. I get it after 24 hours. Way better than Conway.

I just know from recent experience. The training pay is great. He is a whiner. Yes, 24 hrs is better however he has 0 experience. As far as habitual, I stated in general not just this site. Obscure work comp cases, all companies have those issues. Bottom line, this guys isn't sitting for free and should be thankful for what they have done for him to this point.

Then we are in agreement, with my original comment.

He should be thankful they are feeding him and providing a motel room. There are worse companies to work for, that would take it out of his first check.

However, there are companies that would pay him while he sits in that motel room waiting for his trainer.

As far as obscure cases. It will have to remain that way. I don't have a case number for you. Can't provide you with much other than their name. Which I won't do. If that makes it a lie, in your opinion. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Not saying its a lie at all, saying all large companies have some of those issues. He is getting layover after 48, all he has to do is tell them when he leaves. Not trying to argue with anyone, just setting the record straight after just going through it.

I could be wrong, but i think he/she was talking about orientation pay of $300.00 instead of training pay, because he/she was sitting in a hotel room waiting on a trainer. With training pay he/she will get paid every week or 2 weeks while in training with the trainer. Maybe he did not get paid orientation pay. Maybe they don't pay you for orientation?:biggrin_25524:

No, They paid him the 300.00 he stated. Now they pay him .26 per mile for 10,000 then he is on his own. Everyone has to wait for a trainer at the holliday inn in a room by himself. real tough.

Hell they give you a private room? Alot better than being bunked with the 200lb sleep apnea sufferer who doesn't shower.

Yes. I stayed Mon through Sunday at Holliday Inn in a private room. The company is very fair.
