If you guys don't like they way things are ...the door is right there in front of you .....I'm fine with home time ...I take 5-7 days after 4-5 weeks ..as far as pay goes about a Nickle more per Mi would be cool and .05 a mi Safety ...
A bigger check would make hometime better so in not thinking I gave to get back to work and make some more $$$$ ....

As for days earned ...my fm has never told me I did not have enough....I just take what I need (within reason )

well think about it this way on home time u they did that. then drivers would be complaning that there not making money cuz there taking to much time off. i honestly dont see why so much complaning is going on. YES we need higher pay cuz food and all is going up but our pay isnt. BUT we get nice big TAX breaks write everything off you buy!!! Clothing/Cell phone/ Internet/ TV/DVDS..... Buy a laptop write that off buy a 50inch TV write it off lol. get a Super truck CB write it off. Get the hint?? only thing i dislike is hometime the 8 day highlight i hate cuz i never know when im going home. i wish we could request a day and be there by that DAY! but i got to agree a little with paul. get up after ur 10hour break is over dont sleep an extra 2-3hours del that load early if u can or get it relayed and make more miles.

I am not going to go into the reason on why I am not looking to leave here at the moment, I am just hoping right now for the situation to get better is all. I am not looking to walk out the door(not sure why that seems to be the answer to everyones problems when you dont like something) Some drivers dont want to be home regularly...I do. I have friends and family at home that I like to see whenever I am not working. My family after all is the reason I am driving a truck.
Depending on your FM, staying out 4 to 5 weeks only allows you 4 to 5 days off, not 5 to 7, unless you have banked days. Thats the issue. I have had FM's in the past who didnt stick to that and allowed extra days whenever they were needed, or just to make it through the weekend, but my current FM is by the book, no extra days off, and that stinks.

It depends how often you go home and how much vaca time u have earned. I worked 17 days last month and Conway still owes me 9 days. BUT I will go back to banking days (21 days out 2.5 days home) before thanksgiving. It's all how u want to do it. Thinking about it I'll take a week at the end of the month for haying/hauling silage for my father in law. Start banking days after
