Picked up a load in Calexico,Ca headed to Charleston,SC 2354 miles awesome load will put me at 3785 for the week, it's going to suck if I have to relay this load, driving thru Arizona yesterday messed up something in my truck and now I keep overheating, had 2 different mechanics look at it and both said it had to be something inside the engine, they took out the thermostat to see if that would help but it didn't still get hot, so it looks like tomorrow we will be headed to Tucson to the Cumins Diesel and sitting there till it gets fixed.

Thanks to all for the kind words and encouragement. Infection has been my big battle. The chemo clobbers the immune system. I am taking a little extra time off thinking I went back to work too soon and keep forgetting I am not bulletproof. I actually drove about 1200 miles with a catheter in me, compliments of the E.R. in Laredo.

I decided it was silly, moved out of the truck in Lawrenceville, and drove another 650 in a rental car to get home. Feeling better now, got rid of the catheter and have this infection on the run. Actually did some long overdue yardwork, planning on some overdue fishing and golf before getting another round of chemo next week.

Working on getting back out around the 5th or so.

Have a safe holiday weekend you all.

New Milford, PA. waiting to deliver in Pittston, gonna see if they will take it earlier, one of our national accounts we do alot of work for, and it's drop/hook but I know from experience they can be picky based on which 1 you're delivering/picking up from.

Sitting at the Petro "3 for your city" so who knows when I will get a load with it being memorial day weekend. Miles this week sucked!

Don't know about y'all, but I am definitely not on the smiles for miles program at the moment. WTF is going on with the office?:smt070

Seriously in a pissed off mood, I keep managing to wind up in overbooked markets and my miles are suffering because of it. They need to get more ##### in the seats there in Joplin to handle a fleet this size and get the trucks rolling.

1574 miles this week. That's 3 days, 3.5 days work tops!
