Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

I discussed some things with my FM, I was basically informed that there is some changes going on in the offices, but that the rough stuff should be changed. On top of that having memorial day weekend with overstacked trucks in an area didn't help. Looking forward to my days at home, I need a mental reset after 2 logbook resets in less than a week. Sitting at what used to be White's truckstop ext 305 in VA on 81.

 

Sitting in Springville UT waiting to deliver tomorrow (Wed) at 0900.

 

Ohio, deliver at 0740 7 mi away. Reading a bit then bed.

What kinda changes? And by rough stuff are they talking the mileage issues? I was wondering if there we're a lot of planners just hired/switched around due to the bunching. Today seemed like the northwest got it worst and Texas was a little jacked up too. My mini vaca helped a lot BUT 3 days in the sun and not remembering sunscreen the first 2 are making laying down a bit painful.

 

Headed to Salt Lake City to deliver in the morning. Preplanned through Saturday at 1 AM when we will be arriving at the CWF in Abilene, TX. Hope they can find us something else to stack on to finish out the weekend.

 

Delivering at 0900 1 mile from the truckstop. Let's hope I can make it on time. LoL

Good luck and be brave. I made my 4 mile trip but had to push through and not give up even when I encountered sunshine and blue skies, I'm proud to say as a professional driver that I made it on time. People really don't understand the challenges we face everyday. Bad coffee, hand sanitizer drying out your hands, and the constant threat of a one sided tan. Be brave everyone

No Preassigned yet and unloading is going SLOW they got 3 skids off since 0700 let's hope I can get on the board before the 2 or so loads (assuming nothing has changed) in Ohio are dispatched to others

West Memphis....Was having a pretty good week, Now truck is in the shop. Hopefully the week is still salvageable....I have Faith!!
