Well spent all last nite pukin.. slept into 4 pm still not feelin best. What a great way to spend my time off...

 

Grumpy, you do not want no part of that desert. You would not come back a live. Going over there without a weapon is suicide. Take my advice on this one. Just giving you some advice from someone that has been over there.

 

I believe that devildawg fortunately I never had to go. And y'all know Conway doesn't hide their dispatch speed. We all get 49 MPH plus an extra 10 hour break. Its all on the table. And after I deliver, I have never had to sit very long, even if it picks up the next day, they send me the stuff that evening.

 

Found a really great Truckstop it's on Interstate 65 exit 54 in Alabama called Creek Travel Plaza, very clean has 24/7 diner and chesters chicken

 

Doing a 36 hr break. And to anyone thinking Halliburton is paying $120,000 to driver tax free take another hit off the crack pipe: you pay taxes on anything over $80,000 and after the market crashed tons of people flooded over there as well as the fact they are using British nationals now because travel is cheaper pay is around $78,000 last my friend heard (engineer for KBR over there) and pay is goIng down just like here because of people willing to do it cheap
