Small electric fry pan, paper plates/bowls, plastic utensils, paper towels. One appliance let's you fry meat, make grilled cheese sandwiches, cook eggs, steam vegetables, etc. Easy to clean...just wipe out with paper towels. A small drip coffee maker is a must if you are a coffee drinker. I've tried having a crock pot, instant pot, GF grill.......too much of a hassle to store and clean for me. Also used to have a microwave in the truck. Took up too much space and I rarely used it. Plus, every truck stop has a microwave if you need one

"lunch box" cooker is a great starter.

I used a lunch box cooker before I had a truck with an inverter. They work off of a 12 "cigarette lighter" outlet. If you have an inverter don't even buy one. I bought an 8" electric fry pan on Amazon for $12.00. More versatile and much quicker than a 12 volt appliance.Sirscrapntruckalot and BennysPennys Thank this.

I have been doing low carb/ intermittent fasting for about 8 weeks. Down 20 lbs. Cook all of my meat, fish, veggies, eggs in the fry pan. Eat once a day. Shop at Wally world once a week or so. Barely spend $50.00 per week. That includes coffee and diet sodas too. Rarely purchase any food or drinks at truck stops. I save a ton of money compared to buying and eating all of that expensive and crappy TS "food"Dino soar, BennysPennys and tallguy66 Thank this.
