Pause the video at the 6 second mark and look on the table, I'm not sure what brand it is but maybe one of you coffee drinkers might be able to...

If you want great coffee, (better than Starbucks), you should buy a Keurig. I bought the single cup smallest model at Target for $99, they have them at Safeway for $129, but now not to be outdone, WalMart has them for $89. Of course, WalMart does not carry all the great coffee brands for it, if you want a better selection head to Super Target.
The pot makes one cup of coffee at a time, (8 oz, I add 3 oz. milk, I heat in the microwave-for the perfect latte.) It makes the cup in 3 minutes flat, and every cup is ideal. The cleanup is a snap, the unit uses pre-measured disposal cups(not so good for the enviroment, but amazing for me). Until I bought the Keurig I was stopping at Starbucks at least twice a day. Between the time and the crazy search for parking, not to mention expense, I'm saving a fortune and migraine headaches!

I would not know where to start with all the propane cookers and what not. By why would I want to? If I'm going to cook, I want good food, not undercooked or overcooked mush, I can get that at any truckstop. I make healthy tasty meals all with a little forethought so I can make them in the truck. So far, the only meal I haven't come up with any idea how to do is: Thanksgiving Turkey.
I have a mini George Forman and a microwave. I detest eggs, but my husband loves them, so for breakfast typically I either make him omelettes(super easy in micro) or over easy. A typical dinner...yesterday, I made Grilled Mahi Mahi, with (homemade naturally) Roasted Red Pepper Coulis. I cook while he drives or if my turn to drive, he makes me a salad.
Today we are having Lobster and Shrimp Ravioli, (Buitoni Target-frozen food section-I know that's cheating) I don't use the enclosed sauce, I make a fresh one and bon apetit.
Anyway, I'll shut up, just saying with a little thought, (And those of you using those Coleman things-man do you give it thought) and simple appliances you can still eat like a king.

I love Empanadas. They are meat or fruit filled pies. You can make these ahead and freeze for taking with when traveling.

My SIL has a Nu-Wave oven. I have had many meals she has made in this...they are always cooked to perfection!

I plan on getting one of these as soon as I can. It will replace everything except our portable grill, my French Press, and, of course, the microwave. The micro just as a back-up, and my French Press makes the best coffee I've ever had!!

Ya know, I've always thought just a coleman two burner and a few pots and pans would do the trick, but I think one of then new wave's would be pretty handy to have on board.

Yep, that Nu-wave thing does everything but slice and dice...LOL
Seriously, though, I will have much more room on the truck for other things, when I get this.It will replace my dehydrator, my burner & frypans/pots, my crock pot (which is a BIG one), my toaster and toaster oven, because it does all those, and more.
I can't WAIT until I get mine!

I picked up a 4-cup brewer at a truckstop on clearance, half price. I think I paid about 12 bucks for it, but it plugs into a CLA and works just like the one on your countertop at home.simplyred1962 Thanks this.

Flavor Wave, apparently just another brand, does the same thing.
The difference is that the sides of the cooking are attached to the bottom rather than the top, like the nu wave.
The nice thing with the Flavor wave configuration is that you can do liquids. May on here have mentioned slow cookers. A Flavor wave with the "bucket" design could also replace the crock pot.
I wish either company would make a smaller unit but I haven't found that yet.simplyred1962 and kickin chicken Thank this. -
