Yes, you can cook meatloaf in the crock. Every time I've tried it, though, it has come out a little too mushy for my tastes. As for the corn bread, not sure about in the crock, but it cooks very well in the micro, just doesn't brown on top like in the oven.

I have read recipes where you roll up balls of tinfoil and put three or four at bottom of crockpot. Place your meatloaf on top of these and your meatloaf will not sit and cook in its own grease. I hope this helps.

I love this and its simple and easy. I just brown the hamburger befor i leave and then when i want to make it i put some sause in the crock pot and then add lasagna noodles and meat and cheese in layers and top it off with cheese takes about 6 hours to cool but its a great one pot meal and its filling.

You can do babyback ribs in the crock pot. Cut them small enough to fit in you crock pot. Make sure you take the membrain off the back put a small plate upside down in the bottom and a small amount of water then put your rub on the ribs. Wrap them in tinfoil cook for 5-6 hrs will be fall off the bone.

What do you like to cook?
    How do you do it?
What do you cook on, in, or you tell me?

I have cooked on the road. Had a sterno set up and cooked up sandwhich steaks, soups, brought leftovers from home and heated them up. had a friend that used to carry around a little propane camp stove and grill and we used to cook out all sorts of stuff when we were at terminals together.
