Military heating elements. Add liquid to metal plate in bag, shove bag of water to heat on top if it wait a while. You can get a box of those for quite a little bit.

12 volt dutch oven, fill half with water, clamp top half on wait half a day or night you will have a reasonably hot water. But it might not be boiling.

Park 15 minutes, build fire in rest area grill. Boil water. Done.

Green stanley will do it for 16 to 22 hours roughly. We were always getting hot water.

A gal in gateway tried to charge me 4 bucks for hot water once... Manager ripped her a new one. Almost fired her when she talked back at the Exit 4 east of st louis. what a fiesty spitfire she was...

Ok so its possible. I was thinking one of those crock pots that plug into the cigarette lighter would work or if all else a thermos

Yup. The green Stanley 'Grandpa' thermos! Good idea on the MRE heaters as well. I'd rather spend money on a box of those than a junk 12v roadpro appliance!

Sure. But you will wait like 10 hours. Might as well toss ham, taters, onions and a bit of gravy in there and start cooking.

Which is why we buy from Petro. When they burn up they are swapped for a retail new unit no questions asked.

I think we went through about 15 individual pots, ovens and assorted 12 volt crap in one year. Average prices being what they were, it's like a thousand dollars saved. One inverter and induction plus coffee pot took care of that.

You would think Petro will bite back at the factory making this crap until they make it right so they wont burn up ever....
