Fire, must have fire.
BlueThunderr, tommymonza and PhilKenSebben Thank this. -
Most companies don't care if you "install" the small inverters that plug into the cigarette lighter outlet. Some companies prohibit inverters that connect direct to the batteries, or they may require those type inverters can only be used if installed by their shop.
The inverters that plug into he cig lighter are limited to maybe 100-300 watts. That is only big enough to recharge a laptop, recharge your phone, etc. You can't power a microwave or fridge from them. Inverters that can power microwave ovens generally must be 1000-2000 watts. Those inverters connect directly to the batteries and if not connected properly can easily burn your your truck down. It's a long walk home.OPUS 7 Thanks this. -
Use a small propane grill a lot
Or a slow cooker running off a 150 watt 12v plug in inverter
Also left overs can be warmed up if wrapped in tinfoil in the engine bay. -
im sorry but for 60k a year a company isnt going to be telling me what i can and cant do

Meh...
It's their truck. If you want to make the rules, buy your own equipment.PhilKenSebben Thanks this. -
No, I set the grill out on the stepbox on my tractor. Or if I'm pulling a step deck, and have room, I set it on there.

Problem with that one is the non-standard fuel can. If you can't get a hose to connect to a standard bottle, in the 1-2 years once Coleman gets bored making the fuel you're hosed.

Freightliner fuse box in century and Columbia's, get good heat when the heater is on. Cans of soup, sandwiches in plastic, maybe even a frozen pizza would almost cook if it's what you had. Frozen burrito would be good after hours almost anything could be hot or near hot. Or keep things warm.
tommymonza Thanks this.
