I always use distilled water. Dollar store usually has it for a buck a gallon. Most stores have it.
I carry a couple gallons of 50% mixed.
I've read in the trade journals, some say yes ,some say no.
I don't think with the green it will make much difference compared to the newer formulas.

The test strips are thin pieces of paper.
They are self explanatory. They will change color. Directions come with the strips.
You just dip them in the coolant, depending on color change. They determine the strength of your sca's.
You can get them at most auto parts store that have heavy duty parts.
Search the internet..
Sca coolant test strips... You should find what you seek.
