Yes. When you save a trip it makes you name that trip. So it gets saved in a folder called "na/save"
You can email or transfer via wire any trip, or the whole folder to the other device and dump them into that same folder.
For example: do a trip and click to save it. Name it something unusual like "abc123" or something. Then do a search for that file so you see where it resides on your device. On Windows 7 it would be "\ALK Technologies\CoPilot Live v9 Laptop\NA\save"
Make a shortcut to that folder location on "device 1" and make one on "device 2" so that you never have to search for it again. Now dump trips, miles, favorites, etc from device A to device B any time. It works across platforms too. In other words, "xyz123.trp" file would be the same trip on Windows, Android, and Apple devices in that folder.

you can install multiple androids, iphones. and i'm guessing windows phones.
but windows pc. only allows ONE activation.
kind of sucks. as sometimes i like to run the pc at home AND the laptop in the truck. (not at the same time though) -

I have copilot for ios installed on an ipad, an iphone 6+ and an old iphone 5.
I use the iphone 5 as a stand alone GPS, dashcam. I love copilot! my places save from device to device. Copilot finds a lot of things no other GPS can. As far as finding a business or address the only rival I've seen is WAZE but WAZE doesn't route for trucks and it needs an internet connection to work. -
Ok. Thanks. -
But I automatically assumed that the question in this thread about it would be referring to a driver who owned 2 CoPilots and wanted to know how to do it for free across his own devices. And since it can be done in 30 seconds once you make a shortcut to the folder with the files, it's relatively painless. -
Thanks for the info and the link above. -
Maybe someone here more versed in Apple file sending/receiving can give you an app or procedure for that. But it seems like there has to be multiple ways to do it painlessly without buying PC Miler with RouteSync. That program is designed for dispatching many trucks from an office by sending the routes to their devices remotely and you could buy 10 CoPilots for the price of it. (hence why I am reiterting which folder you would find those route files in.) -
Thanks. -
Thanks.
