Corona virus cases will skyrocket in a week.

"We have more than 2,500 kits that are being distributed around the country this week that will make more than 1.5 million tests available at hospitals that have requested them, and in areas of the country that have been particularly impacted by the coronavirus," Pence


Testing kits are being distributed. This means that there will be more verifiable Corona virus cases NOT just more actual cases. The media will ignore this and focus on the numbers. This will scare the general population and cause hysteria.
Get the supplies that you will need now before the hording begins. Unless you already have a medical condition they are saying you’re likely to be fine but it is more dangerous than the flu overall.

I think this first scare will slow the economy down till people realize they are not going to die after going to dinner and a movie. Then we will have a boom when they all get cabin fever. Or we will all die. Not sure which one will happen yet.

How do you think this will affect trucking? Will there be a slow down? Rates?

What about drivers? Will restaurants be open? Will truck stops overcharge on their overcharged goods? Shorthanded at loading/drop off causing longer wait times?
