Corona virus cases will skyrocket in a week.

My point though with the virus. It’s a media political agenda scare tactic. To scare people. Yeah new virus and people with weak immune system die. Happens with any virus and far more people die each day with viruses already in this country.

 

Are we insane to accept the rate of deaths caused by the criminals, miscreants, and the mental nuts out here running around? The simple answer is yes.

Here's a politically incorrect thought. Maybe if we went back to locking up the criminals, miscreants, & the insane, we wouldn't have as many shootings. To blame the gun is what's insane....

 

Maybe if they put the serpentine back into the cdl test, and had all state examiner's for the driving part, like they used to, everyone would be much safer.

 

Don't buy into the hype that the mortality rate is a lot higher than the flu. My guess is that tens of millions around the world already have it, and either will never know they have it or just have slight cold symptoms. So those people will never be tested or diagnosed with the virus and not counted in the mortality rate calculations. We had over 12,000 people die from the flu in the US since October that we know of. I don't hear people in a panic over that. Heck I've never gotten a flu shot in my life and haven't had the flu for over 20 years.

An accurate accounting of the mortality rate can only be determined if the vast majority of the population is tested, and that will never happen. Hong Kong China is one of the most densely populated places on the planet with 8 million people, and since the virus first showed up there in January they've had one death. Mainland China started throwing everybody in quarantine facilities if they were just suspected of being sick, and now they have tens of thousands infected and most of their economy is shut down which is why the trucking industry has slowed here.

I'm taking precautions like not hugging my elderly parents when I see them once a week, but otherwise I'm not losing sleep over it.

To use a very bad analogy in laser games like the old Photon arena etc, when 10+ charge you. You are going to "Kill" so many of them. But because you are emptying your gun in defense of a mob intended for YOU personally with no reason, thinking or emotion above basic human rage and lust for blood and whatever else they can get off you, you probably want a SAW. A machine gun at that point. Thats not going to happen.

In order for a mob to stomp that teen girl or anyone means that it is itself a mob. Law has no hold on them. Thus evil flourishes. For whatever reason. And they become a force of nature intent on probably robbing, hurting critically or even killing those who are not able to see it coming and get escaped.

Thats a mob.

Now if you had say 10,000 thirsty, hungry and desitute people wanting out and to start roaming the country side pillaging whatever food, drinks and so on among other things in lawless or even no law at all post disaster? Thats very possible. NYC with 15 million becomes very violent at that point.

I actually have family up there and think on them a time or two. Now that I received word that Amtrack has cut non stop acela service to a minimum each day to reduce infections if possible.

Stephen Kings's the "Stand" is a movie one can watch if they are interested in some kind of situation after which enough is infected by a bug that is a dangerous one. Fair warning, it's 9 hours long in total.
