So I can’t use a refill cup at the truck stop cuz my cup might be infected. But if that’s the case then wouldn’t I be infected also? And touching all sorts of things as I fill up a paper coffee cup to pay with my debit card and enter my PIN number with infected fingertips? Things that make ya go hmmmmm…

They could sign the paperwork without ever touching the paper itself. The virus can't leap 3-4 inches off the paper.

Having the virus on your hands or skin doesn’t necessarily infect you. It has to enter your body commonly through touching your eyes, mouth, nose, or a cut or wound.

    6wheeler and jbatmick Thank this.

The FMCSA is dropping the ball. They could come up with a standard operating procedure for interaction with drivers at shippers and receivers and strongly recommend everyone do that. All bills should be electronic via email, all interaction over the phone.

    PE_T Thanks this.

The FMCSA already intrudes in the lives of truckers too much. Any attempt by them to fix anything usually screws things up worse than before.
