Coronavirus and quarantine?

It looks like it's going to hit us all sooner or later with how contagious it stounds, might as well get it over with right now.

 

Bottom line....

Hey I’m a real cowboy I haul livestock for a living, and I am also a ranch hand. My advice get to a Walmart early and shop,as for water I keep three 5 gallon bottles of water on my truck filled at my house on the ranch. Good Luck

Ever wonder why alcohol is so effective against germs? Germs and single cell organisms thrive in water. The human body is made of water. Germs get in and run amok and the body sends it’s immune system to fight off the illness. A hard fight.

Alcohol is thinner than water. Your single cell organisms take it in faster than what they can expel it and burst.

If you get one of those cheap little microscopes and put a slide of pond water underneath, you will see the millions of little single cell organisms swimming around. Put 1 drop of Everclear, or Bacardi151 in the mix and watch the sudden destruction.

Worried about the corona virus? Go to the liquor store, get your favorite spirit and pound it down. Be sure to hit the head before you pass out.

The worst advice. This will actually weaken your immune system people. Don't do it. Eat vegetables and fruits to strengthen your immune system. Drink plenty of water. This person has confused what alcohol does to microbes when coming in direct contact and thinks the same thing happens when one drinks alcohol.

 

From what I've seen so far from the gov't and "people in charge", they are acting like this is the end of the world. I've always said the panic will be worse than the virus itself, people are generally like cattle and easily pushed in a certain direction. If you watch the boob tube and the message they are putting out....bam, the panic is on in the stores. So scare and panic the public, CHECK that off as accomplished.

Sure the response is irrational, but it's happening and it's not going to stop anytime soon. So I ask the question again, "Do you really want to be in an OTR truck, with no resources or weapon, as things deteriorate?" The truck is not a defensible position when the marauders come looking to scavenge anything of value, if it comes to that. Of course there are those that have made the pursuit of money their only reason to exist, so there's that. I say to them, "health is wealth".

 

If you have to stop working due your work place closing then you can claim unemployment because you are out of work by no fault of your own. You may also be able to collect unemployment if you have to quarantine, but it varies by state with terms like Choose, Forced, Sick, Exposed, Not Sick. Not really the answer you are looking for, but hopefully a bit helpful.

Most people don't have much to worry about though.
The numbers you hear on the news are skewed for attention and hype.
