I wish I had about 1000 masks, I’d sell every last one of them, maybe let my wife keep 1 or 2, just to keep the peace. Lol

I am not afraid of the COVID19 itself, it would be a challenge to me personally to be sick like that.

The People though, if you are in public and there is a air of panic buying at all its a real problem. Its already started around here a little bit. We changed our store habits to go shopping at like 4 am when no one is around except for the few workers who have to be there. And THEY are wearing masks already. Have been for weeks.

We have been working for years since that one ice storm back in 2000 gave us a black eye. It was three weeks before we had power, before we had water and so on. SO we over buy in good times a few items extry so that goes into the storage closet for later use. But nothing outrageous.

We are getting ready with the new month's budget to finish the purchasing of certain items at risk of being short or out due to panic from the locals. When we have these items it will be a year or more before we need them again at the store. And that would be the end of that sequence of buying. For example Bleach, if we acquire 5 gallons each thats 10 on hand. The kitchen is already a hazmat zone so a few extra gallons wont hurt none. But you will not see us buying all 10 in one cart oh no. We get it a gallon here drive there a gallon there and so on. We usually go through 3 gallons a year give or take. Thats just one example of what we are looking at.

This thread is almost as annoying as all the autonomous truck threads.

Hey, think of it this way! If all the truckers die, all the trucks on the road will have to be autonomous! Just kidding, I agree.

To be fair, I caught West Nile Virus, and that's as sick as I've ever been. Absolute death.

Only strep came close, and that wasn't as explosive at both ends. Lol

2,000 of 75,000 is 2.667%. Easy math would be 10% of 75,000 is 7,500, so 5% would obviously be 3,750.

This. I'm not worried since I'm not over 80 nor is my immune system compomised.

Yep. I won't even touch the lock on a bathroom stall without a piece of paper. And I bring my own food to avoid the non-hand washers at restaurants.
