Cost of Towing a Loaded Truck & Trailer?

All you guys complaining about the price of the tow. When was the last time you priced a large tow truck? And when was the last time you checked insurance for a tow operation? They have a lot of overhead and you never know when work is coming.

 

I wonder what it costs per mile to keep the International Space Station up there?

 

It needs some chicken lights.

 

Cost a lot to run a tow business, heavy duty wreckers are expensive and the insurance is crazy. . I’ve been towed a few times, I have no problem paying fair rate to get off the side of the road.. if we gonna complain I’m more butthurt at shop rates and price markup if you unlucky enough to need Volvo parts lol..

 

Waco ,Tx I paid 250 for 4-5 miles . Elpaso I was quoted 400 for about the same . I limped my truck in Elpaso to the shop instead of tow . I did have tow insurance for 1 yr it cost me 400 a year , I forget the radius.
