My only experience was with Costco in West Palm Beach...

They unload fast but parking was limited if you get there early..

I go to the one in Forrest Park, GA (South ATL) pretty regularly. I've never been in the door more than an hour, you only have to speak to one person (the guard), and you don't have to get out of the truck except to open and close doors. They run a tight ship and are very efficient. There is no reason that every grocery warehouse couldn't operate this way. I don't know why all the others don't take note.

Costco is fast delivered to the one in Tracy ca a week or two ago and that one was kinda a cluster but other than that easy delivery. Don't like the sticker thing though hard to tell they signed for everything

Costco has their own fleet and uses outside direct delivery on some product.

When I was humping tires for a living it was a daily delivery to a different store.

Doing the Freddie the freight hauler thing, I have always seen short in and out times at the warehouses.

The Costco DC out of Morris, Il uses Swift as their Dc to store carrier. Most of the stuff I seen incomming was done by O/Os.
I liked getting loads from there as it was a common hometime run for me, and I got an excuse to stop at R's Place. Yummy!
