Rollover: those are some great points there. I did check craigslist but all I found was junk. If I can get the total cost refunded I will probably get a decent one like a crown or a jet.

Just have the customer call the terminal and say they are refusing the delivery unless there is a pallet jack on the truck .

If it makes your life easier why would you care if it is deductible? You can always sell it to some other driver if you leave, or on Craigslist. Just buy the thing and be done with it.

The thing that really pisses me off over this type of thing, is that the company is just using an excuse to keep from spending money on equipment. The argument that "drivers loose and/or abuse" pallet jacks is NOT a reason to not have them available.

What they need to do, is to address the problems with these "loosers and/or abusers," rather than punish everybody for the deeds of a few. It's just pure bull crap. They don't want to invest the money in the tools needed to do the job.

Do you work for AAA? Im at southeastern but aaa has just about the same operation we have, some coverage area for the most post, same equip, just a different color truck. I may have to buy one and just be done with it but if theres a way to get some kind of compensation for it thatd be great. Im not pleased with the way the company is handling it but theres not a great deal I can do about it.
