I'm surprised that you didn't apply to Abilene. Also, I put your location in the job search on this site. Crete, Shaffer, Great Plains, AD Transport, K&B, all came up. You could try Magnum, Holland Enterprises, Kotte, VanWyk, RE Garrison, all those would probably work for you since you don't have to be home.

As far as a quick answer from the requirements you listed, they hire from all 48, I believe, and almost certainly out of VA. APU's, we do dry van and reefer, but probably 90% is reefer. Should start out somewhere around 60cpm + 6cpm for safety and performance bonus, which are pretty easy bonuses to get, so 66cpm or so total. You really only lose it for tickets and at fault damages.

20/hr detention after 2 hours
40 or 50 for extra stops, I forgot which
Paid parking reimbursed
10cpm of your pay is paid 'per diem'
-I think they pay a penny or two extra on all miles for Hazmat, but I'm not sure since I don't have it.
-There's border crossing pay if you have a Passport and get one of the few Canada loads
-northeast pay if you go east of Scranton into NJ, RI, CT, MA, etc.
-NYC pay if you choose, which adds on with the northeast pay, so totals to like 100-150 extra or something like that, but you can opt out of NYC. No driver has to go across the bridge to the island of hell, but I think it pays enough to be worth it. I went to Long Island once. Got all the extra pay and dodged the burrows.

Downsides will be that you'll probably be in an International to start. They've moved to trading trucks every 2 years, so they're all pretty reliable. They do have KW's, but more of a seniority thing. We haul a lot of Tyson, so get ready for weird schedules. We also run all 48, but you can opt out of a region. I think all 48 is a positive, but just know Wyoming is not on the list of opt outs lol. Winters get interesting on our lanes sometimes. Lot of upper Midwest, but all regions are pretty much fair game at any points.

No company's perfect, but I'm pretty pleased here. I've only had one dispatcher here, so I can't speak from the rest of them. But on another note, load planners are assigned regions and do more of your trip planning than dispatch, so should be a pretty equal experience for all drivers.

We have open fueling and routing as well (within reason). All Love's, majority of Flying J's, and some Kwik Trips, Casey's, etc

They have some regional accounts that are home weekends for surrounding states. Some day cab jobs for those in/around Sioux City.

OTR home time is listed as 10-14 out, 2 home on most of their ads, but depends on location. Days home accrue though, so I usually do 6 weeks or so and then go home for 5-7 days
