    The rand McNally is a great tool and it has a lot of perks that's why I had two, unfortunately they didn't serve me well with the two different devices it's either the software glitch or overheating issues.
    The garmin has more to offer for the same price, and for newbies there is a backup cam connection. Just compare them and chose the right one for you

    I use Co Pilot Truck Routing. But remember, GPS is a guide, don't rely on it 100%. Use yer Atlas, routing and direction.
