Typical CA liberal insanity. What a fine upstanding example of them not being able to reason.

The city of Orange in California is also a bird sanctuary which, no doubt, attracts bird-brains to run the town.

The city of Orange is just over the mountain from where I dwell. But when it comes to water, we're about the same. The city says cut back on watering as they flood the streets while watering the medium. That used to tick me off to no end because on my days off, I take the Big truck home and clean it all up including polishing the aluminum. Then on my way on surface streets to the interstate, I have no choice but to run through that water and spraying the back of my bobtail tractor.
What a needless mess that makes of all the work and time I put into cleaning it.

If code enforcement sees water running off a citizen's lawn it's a fine. But the city can get away with it. The city doesn't even repair broken sprinkler heads in a timely manner, allowing a water spout to dump hundreds of gallons into the gutters.
And when the citizens DO cut back on water usage, the water supplier raises the water rates to make up for less money in water payments coming in to their office as a result of less water being used.
    We can't win for losing.

The lunacy is only the beginning...

Whenever we have a drought....the state water agencies urge us to cut back...
So being the good citizens that we are...we conserve....Then the water agencies profits swoon and they raise the rates to compensate for the "lost" revenue....

The same is going on now with people who drive economy cars...Cali is losing revenue because people are driving the Prius and getting 40 mpg.....

    This sheyat will never change.......

This is exactly why I bought 700 acres in an unincorporated area. I vehemently hate being told what I can do with my property. I'm planning a major redo of the houses landscaping in arlington, pulling out a tree and bushes and installing smaller trees and a koi pond. I had to read through 29 pages of zoning and landscaping ordiances to figure out what I am and am not allowed to do.... ridic!
