Newbtrker I think you'll find out pretty quickly that what they company SAYS they're going to do and what they actually end up doing are two completely different things. You have the front line people telling the new drivers what they want to hear and then you have the back line people who know what the reality is and will only tell you when you ask why something isn't like you were initially told. I'd lay odds that come next week Swifty girl is going to be teamed up with a partner no matter WHAT she's been told up to now.

I hear ya there rcw, just got our first stiff of it all, pay scale has changed and student bonus dropped from 2500 to 1000, so hopefully RC and Rocks still will get their 2500, along with the others out there. Wonder what else will change.

Obama and change, don't have #### on Covenant. -
yeah i guess your right there, but and this is just my opinion but i have feeling there are changes similar going on all over the place. i maybe wrong, and i welcome insight from other companies on this. But all is going ok so far and see how it goes and how long I have to wait for a trainer.

covenant can eat my pile:
..it's getting worse even on the dedicated end....
this just might be my last month...sitting at trucks stops not making money is no way
to make a living, between the economy, the uncertainty in the country and this companies attitude we are better off on the bread line..and that may be comming soon!
once again, covenant canall day long.
my new handle is
mcr the mad dog.:disgust: -
He and his partner are FINALLY just the two of them on the truck. They had been wagging the girl around as there was a question of whether she was going to stay or not. Well that was decided today when the company ended up firing her. She was thinking about quitting anyway and when she turned in her 2-week notice, they just fired her and that was that. Redcoat's DM was in a terrible mood after that so Redcoat thought it prudent not to pester him about the extra day of layover pay they owe him.
So now they are currently on their way to Cali. to pick up some carpet that is destined for Washington. Back up to the land of snow. But at least the wheels are finally rollin' so he can start racking up his little .15 per mile.
Stay tuned.MCR6468, AfterShock, The Challenger and 1 other person Thank this. -
