Any of you been to Chattanooga lately? I live about 15 miles South of Covenant HQ and drive by there often. Question for someone....exactly how many tractors and trailers are sitting on top of the hill?

Rocks, I'm glad your happy at Cov. It gives me hope. Not all companies can be number one to work for. I think it's easier to deal when you really like what you do. Since I have a loved one currently working there it's nice to not hear all the negative stuff.

Instead of reporting $30K earned in a year, with the included benefits it brings with higher returns in the future.
RedCoat will now be able to draw benefits on $14k, that were taxed.
Or about 5-700 dollars less, than had he NOT been forced to take the per diem.
The job I have now, has forced per diem. I will be getting another when things pick back up. Job that is. -

Yes, I read his comments in that other post....
But anyway, I hope you guys get something good for you pretty soon. Keep us posted. Yes, that cold lasted only one and half day. I am skinny but pretty strong. Have been running in the northeast and great lakes area. and also Texas, SC.... Now back in PA. Will spend this weekend in Allentown (picking up on Monday). Will have some time to relax and get out of this truck for a change
See people... walk around, do some shopping... enjoy myself... Well, best wishes to you and deb and keep coming back.
MCR6468 Thanks this. -
Now you have me worried. I've never had a cold, that ran it's course in under 48 hours. But I did this week.
Maybe it wasn't a coldBut some super secret experiment on the population.

I think that this deal has to do with some people paying for their CDL. Swift got busted last year at that location, the 3rd party testers were somewhat crooked...
Also I started a *new* post in the not trucking news about taxes.Hey rocks and all,
read it and let me know what you think, I tried to make it a bit funny.
Hope all are well.
best wishes
MCR&DEBRocks Thanks this.
