Great Post, Chompi. I have a few questions for you, if I may. My husband and I are wanting to drive team. He has 18yrs of LOCAL driving experience. I have never driven before and I am waiting to go to school to get my CDL until your youngest graduates from high school (only one year left). I was intrigued by your statement about husband/wife teams being the "cream of the crop" and looking at a company other than one of the "mega-carriers". My husband has all of his endorsements, he has driven fuel tankers for 90% of his driving career. I will also get all of my endorsements so that we can have the best money and loads. We have looked at the biggest companies, some with tank divisions, some reefer and LTL. I have done research online and it seems that LTL makes the most. I guess what it comes down to is, what are the best companies for husband/wife teams (especially with being a recent grad)? How about hiring areas? We currently live in NC but are wanting to move to Montana. Not alot of companies hire up there. Thank you to anyone that responds, I am looking for any imput. Safe driving to ALL!!!
Covenant orientation complete!
