Don'/t even think about doing it. You know the pay they told you based on your experience? They're going to start you at the bottom, the same pay as a new guy would make. Because your jobs aren't on your DAC report.
I seriously heard this happen to someone while I was in the HR office at "The White House" (the home terminal in chattanooga....it looks JUST LIKE the real white house...). The HR girl told him that EVEN THOUGH they verified that he really worked those jobs for that long, they could not count them towards his pay because its not on his DAC report.
Seriously, what the hell? It wouldn't be such a big deal to most people who would end up working there, because it is a training company, but...I think thats going to be a dealbreaker for you...

They offerd me double the cents per mile i was making at previous company My old boss gave me a great refernce too. Every Over the road trucking job sucks in my opinion i guess i just have to eat it for awile and hope to get enough experience to drive a low boy an move machines who wants to be away from home all the time
-
to team. Can you fine other company to for. -
Ive tryed many companys, No luck what kind of accidents did you have i am just starting to think the trucking industry i need to stay away from
-
My dispatcher at Covenant told me the percentage is 30% (I though it was 35%).
But if I need to idle, I do so. Always send msg telling them where I am, temp. and reason why I'm idling. They never charged me.
If you use this box to trick truck and disable governor, you better never let co. find out or you will be fired.
All the best. -
If you start as new driver and they want you to team, you will team for 6 months.
If you are solo, they will not give you an APU.
APU are only for new trucks. Mostly for teams, trainers, members of the executive council and solos who have been working in the company for many years. -
"Well, we verified your experience, but its not on your DAC"....
.....
Have fun.

But many teams get new trucks and all new trucks have APUs.
It would make more sense to have APU in a solo truck (specially in a solo truck.)SierraSemiDriver Thanks this. -
I told them i have fridge an it needs to stay running i asked about idling they said 80% chance i would get apu i dont know you guys sound like ya been in your trucks to long and sound a little bitter
