First week has been good. The office crew has been easy too work with and gets the job of booking done efficiently as well as nearly a day ahead. Been doing some short runs last two days which is good. Less miles with the same daily profit margin as a longer run. While I enjoy longer runs, these short ones have worked well. I had two booked 12 hours apart, unfortunately the shipper took to long in loading me and I couldnt do the second one. Loading a 290 mile round trip today paying well, and Im already booked on a Friday load delivering Monday a 120 mi from home. So far Im a happy trucker.

    nawarra1 and BigBadBill Thank this.

After all the times I've been messed around and pulled over the barrel, I am trying to find a back up route and was considering Farm2Fleet. I would like to talk with some guys who use them daily though.

Talk with bigbad bill he runs f2f. I read your earlier thread, not sure being home nightly is possible.

If it isn't it isn't. I talked with the weekend person this morning and Shelby is supposed to be calling me back on Monday morning. I also sent Bill a message. I am sure he is busy and will get me when he can.

I will say that living in Ohio, if you want to run under f2f authority (not Covenant) and book your own loads using load boards you could be home as much as you want. You live in a great area to be home a lot if you want to.
