You pull thier trailers. They purchased 300 new trailers for this fleet, they are just arriving now. Im currently pulling an older Covenant trailer until I get in and switch out.

We provide the trailer. They are actually trailers that are outside the Covenant pool but we have 300 trailers just in our fleet (or will be that many). We are going for a 3=to=1 trailer pool.

    Lone Ranger 13 Thanks this.

Well. Just got to the hotel. Basic but everything is clean and there are no "friends" to feed on me ;) Had minor issues getting everything in order when I got here but it was 11:30 pm. Let's see how she goes.

No, it is not a week long. There is always something. Qualcomm install, paperwork, getting first load, etc.

I keep having to remind myself, I am an o/o in a sea of company drivers. I'll keep you posted

Assuming you arrive and everything is good - medical, driver test, background - they will complete orientation Wednesday evening. And then you spend Thursday going to all the departments to get activated. Most of this is making sure you understand who is responsible for what and how to get things worked out. At this time, as an O/O you would get "activated" and start getting your truck in for Qualcomm, labeled and inspected. Scheduling the Qualcomm is what takes the most time.

We have had trucks rolling Thursday evening but Friday is a good bet.

Most who have talked to me will remember me saying that this is the worst part of it.
