I have been with Covenant since April/08. It's just a big company like any other one. It's a training company but they are now expanding their business to O/O and so far all the 3 O/Os I've talked to who are leasing Cov trucks are satisfied and running good miles. I am solo, run on a dedicated account, have a great load planner and dispatcher who keep me busy, rarely give me any problems, and help me whenever I need. The pay is not that spectacular but there are some conveniences hard to find anywhere else. Folks in the company (log dept/ safety dept/ fuel dept/ breakdown, shop, etc) have been very nice and I have no complains.

As for a good decision,if at all possible put trucking out of your head all together. Pick up aluminum cans ,wash cars,do what ever it takes, unless it's an absolute have to case.
