That, my friend, is total marketing genius!

 

The biggest improvement the OTR industry could make is to stop hiding behind their FLSA exemption which no longer makes sense with 21 century technology in the trucks, except as an instrument of greed.
Adjusted for cost of living a OTR driver will never get a raise because any raise or bonus he/she gets will still not keep up with the cost of living over their career as a OTR driver.

Covenant already knows what it would take to make improvements for their drivers which is why it relies mostly on new driver training & deceptive 40K bonuses that would take 70mos with the same team driver to pay out.
$53,629 is the avg salary in the state with the lowest annual salary NC. Covenants avg salary nationwide ?$48,730

l watched an assistant on TV say clearly that she was instructed to take the checks out of the envelopes and put the prayer requests in the trash. There were other statements as well. None positive.

 

Well it certainly does have a feel good vibe to it.......

 

Gotta be real careful about what you sign , when dealing friendly trucking companies.
And oh yeah ,BTW, most real Christians know better than to announce their faith with trumpets on street corners

Covenant already knows what they can or cannot get away with and it has alot to do with the paperwork they have your signature on.

They usually have their Victims already set up off the bat , when the driver is busy getting a new job , he will sign almost anything without looking twice after about the 5th form to be filled out and signed.
Rest assured ; the odds are NOT in your favor ALWAYS !!!! So when they do get the driver fed up enough to quit or do something stupid , they already have the leg up on the driver legal enough to steal your money
.... yeah it's a sad day in the neighbor hood but who would've known this day was coming ?
