How on earth do you keep it at 5%? I only idle when I am sleeping. Any other time, reading a book, eating in the truckstop, making a delivery, etc, and the truck is off. If it gets chilly, I put on a jacket. Yet, I am usually around 30-40% for my 5-6 days out.

 

I think its just the heater that's required,,,,

 

Haven't been able to get on here till now, but last Friday Covenant payroll calls me and says that for the last 3 weeks they have been loading. another driver pay on my comdata card. just a little at a time so I knew it was worth findinf a pull off place.

There was about $400.00. over paid. so someone in payroll made the mistake but I had to suffer, my pay for last week was $ 507.00. Insted of paying the driver out of their pocket and deducting 50 or so a week to pay them back they take they whole amount of overpay back to the other driver to his comdata card. .,

So they say me and the other driver has a comdata card of the almost same numbers and that's how it got mixed up.

Well that's it for me they have reamed me for the last time!

 

I hardly ever idle the truck even drop,hook even sleeping. I have been in fairly nice weather put windows down at night. if is cold I bundle up. if its hot. well. don't look in my door windows . I try to stay halfway comfortable in the truck.

 

The only goodthing about the underbunk heat and AC. heater works good. AC. ain't worth nothing about like a fan blowing around hot air in the truck.

 

Wait a minute, they made a mistake and overpaid you. You kept the money that didn't belong to you. It wasn't a loan. Of course they want their money back. Believe me I'm not siding with them, but it wasn't yours to keep. Personally I think they should take it out how they gave it to you, $40 mistake a few weeks in a row and deduct it the same way. $400 mistake once in your pay, then it should come out the same way.

 

I did not know they over paid me at all untill they called me. I usually kept money on my comdata card from previous week. only way when using the comdata card as a debt card to keepup with ballance is write it doqn or keep atm reciepts .

So no it was not my falt they over paid me. Belive meif I cought it 2 weeke ago I woyld of told them before it had gotten to that much. dang sure didn't want tohave wholecheck taken back.!

 

I didn't say it was your fault they overpaid you. What I am saying is they caught the mistake and now want their money back. I'm on your side with this. Unfortunately they will take it back the way it was given to you.
