Unless swift raised pay 2 fold they were the lowest paying company the last time I checked.

No offense intended toward you at all, but companies that do that CPAP machine bull $h1t aren't for me. Sleep study this, sleep study that...then they make you purchase a machine from them. What a load of bs. I am surprised someone hasn't sued these companies for this stuff.

It makes me really angry. No matter what company it is, we know they cut corners. No truck Flys from point A to point B but they calculate mileage like that. And that stuff, i accept. But the cpap mess....that's worse than inward facing cameras. It has jack nothing to do with safety and is a scam to make money off of drivers.

    yeah
.37c a mile was what I was quoted too. Out 2 weeks at a time. Avg 2700 miles a week.

The insurance though... it's hard to get an idea what it's going cost me.

Covenant seems good as a company, they run a lot of miles, not too many serious complaints. Their pay is pretty good and their insurance is good

but (there is always a but), I am not ok with teaming for 4 months. At first I thought it might not be so bad, but the more I thought about it, meh. No thanks.

Friend of mine worked at TransAm for 2 years. He went there as an experienced driver. The reason he left TransAm is because his wife wanted him home every day. He wasn't happy about leaving the company either. Anyway, my original point is they have a short training period.

Yes they do have a short time and everybodys different what doesn't work for some does for others I'll look at them again myself also seen they got direct tv recently but I don't really care bout that it's more about the benefits and how they treat their drivers and how good they are with equipment up keep and a company that has apu would be good to
