I was doing cross Border but am off for a while. I was never afraid of catching the virus but spent any spare time in my little bubble. But things have changed and will only get worse . Without getting political are you afraid?. As essential workers we do not have to quarantine but are you worried for your family?

Personally, I am far, FAR more worried about the assault on my civil liberties.

Nope, doesn’t bother me a bit. But my family is a little more cavalier about one’s own fate.
As my dad used to say “When your number’s up, your numbers up. Nothing you can do to avoid it”
Having said that, some minor precautions are certainly appropriate at this time. No sense in tempting fate.

Well for starters they're shutting down bars, restaurants, gyms etc in Ontario again. The government needs to FO and let us make our own choices. These are people's livelihoods at stake. That $2000/month CERB just about bankrupted this country.

The scared folks can stay home and hide. The rest of us need to get stuff done.

I know it's not Canada, but how about the governor of Michigan illegally extending the state of emergency for the sole reason she didn't have to go through congress to get the "laws" wanted to be put in effect.
Finally got shot down, but it took 6 months.

Oh and to add to the same sort of thing, Trudeau did the same thing here. Rammed through a gun-grab law and banned a ton of firearms just because he had the power to do it with the Scamdemic.

I have noticed that many Canadian shippers have you stay in your truck and bring out the paperwork. Great idea but in the usa they often take no precautions.

Interesting. I do not do many pick ups a month, just my own stuff. I am in a higher risk group and people respect if I back up normally. Went out of state with my wife last weekend. Will tote more food and consider a toilet seat on a 5 gallon bucket with HD trash bags next time. Spent one night in a nice hotel but mentioned to my wife you just touched the most contaminated thing in this whole place. What? Yes the button in the elevator. Five floors and two elevators.
Just thank about what you are doing and be as safe as possible.
Rammed through laws is another subject.
