Well we had it, my daughter almost died from it but thanks to the therapy that trump mentioned and everyone trashed, she survived.
She and all the kids were tested, except for one overseas, they all tested positive.
Her doc said, the lock down, the mask mandates and all the other crap is a stupid reaction to this type of flu and ruined more lives than the actual flu did,
The doc also said that the recovery rate is ignored, 98 to 99%. The infection rate is a lot higher than what is reported, millIons more. But what bothers him and many in the medical world is the fact that they are forced to count anyone who may have it and dies are counted as a death - this skews the numbers and it isn't both financially and politically done. I know of a lady who died from cancer and was counted as a wuhan flu death, she went into the er in a lot of pain, they refused to call her oncologist or give her pain meds (the family lawyer said it was because the er didn't want her to get hooked on opioids) and died during the night because she could not get her cancer treatment earlier that stopped the spread. They didn't even test her for the flu but they claimed she died from wuhan flu.

....... and to be accurate, I needed three choices.
I know a few people who have had it
I know a few people who have been hospitalized &,
I know a few people who have died from it.daf105paccar and Numb Thank this. -
A family friend out in California got it and died. He was in his 60s with diabetes and other problems. He was definitely high risk. He probably got it from his stepdaughter and her kid, who were positive and knew it, and continued to visit without telling anyone that they had the virus.
If anyone did that to my family, well, I'm not going to say what I would do on a public forum.daf105paccar Thanks this. -
Well ( in my best Papa Joe voice), here's the deal. The virus, I feel, is very real, it's the numbers that I question. I live in an apt. complex, 6 buildings, 8 apts. each, only ONE guy got sick. While he said it was no day at the beach, it wasn't the end. He recovered and is fine. Otherwise, all cases were confined to the nursing home, and not to be nasty, but what better place than a nursing home to propagate an illness. They are going to die of something anyway. And hundreds and hundreds of thousands sick, but life goes on? Not to be political, but whoever, or whatever someones intent to cripple our society was, they did a good job, and we will feel ramifications for years to come, if we EVER pull out of it.
Personally, I think it's all a load of crap ( oh, oh, is that a little tickle in my nose?) and time will tell who or what was to blame. In the meantime, one thing for sure,,,it's going to get a lot worse, economically, before it gets better. The tip of the iceberg is right now.PacoTaco, HighCountry, reeferwrencher and 5 others Thank this. -
My younger brother (early 30s), his wife and daughter all tested positive a month ago. All quick and easy recoveries. The daughter was only sick for about a day. Kids are relatively immune.
My mother tested positive 2 or 3 months ago. She was sick for about a week. She was already sick with something else before she picked it up.
My brother and his wife were one of those over reactors too. Wore masks all the time, cleaned everything, washed hands like a dozen times a day. Still got it. I will wear a mask where required, but otherwised I havent changed my routines too much. Never got it, at least not yet.
On a better note my brother and his wife will be donating their blood with the antibodies twice a week, which pays about $800 per month per person.201 Thanks this. -
You and I think a lot a like. Its very real and we know this because its a global pandemic.
However, our response to it here stateside has been embarrassing. Not the precautions really, but everything else. Without saying its a hoax, something about this whole thing doesn't feel right. Especially the forced lockdowns and business closures.
I dont believe the numbers being reported either.Last edited: Aug 21, 2020

I do not know of anyone in my personal or professional lives who has tested positive for or died from covid-19. Nor do I know of anyone who has been immobilized due to covid-like symptoms.

$200 bucks a week, you say? Hmmm,,
,,"over reactors", love it. I ride my bicycle down a bike/walking path, I see no need for a mask out there, yet, it's comical to see some of these people frantically grab for their mask like I'm spewing Saran gas. I try to fart as I go by them,,
I babble with the Walmart cashiers, who see hundreds of people a day, in the 6 months, they haven't had ONE cashier get sick. Draw your own conclusions.

Shoot i've been doing that since before the covid hit.201 Thanks this.
