I was very skeptical and put them on the back burner for a long time. I finally got set up with them and and pretty happy dealing with them. Just like any other broker they have good rates and bad rates but I will say they have been more than fair with me. I also like the fact that they are very easy to work with.

I haul mostly in Texas for them but from conversations I've had it seems like they have more freight east of the rockies than west. The carrier agreement is fair enough so what the heck - try them out.

The faces behind the one-post wonders of Coyote, and their promo video explain the low rates... they have to run cheap loads to pay for the play hard lifestyle. LOL. :yes2557:

Hey mods, could we possibly get this moved or cross linked to the freight broker forum?

So today I get a call from a broker who says I clicked on his load on ITS.
It was posted under Access America who we have hauled for in the past.
He explains it's oversize and going to the port of Oakland, ok no problem, he checks to see if we are set up and says we just need an updated insurance cert since I haven't moved anything for them since at least last year. Ok, again no problem, as our office manager is in the process of updating our info the broker says to her: "we are coyote logistics, we just bought out access America and I need you to set up and do the load under coyote". She alerts me as this is a big red flag to us, if you post a load on ITS as one company but then want to haul it under another that's a big no no.
I talk to him again and he says, "We are a 2 Billion Dollar company, we are the second biggest broker in the world, I assure you there's nothing to worry about". With that I replied, if you can't pay me through access America who you posted the load under then repost the load on ITS under coyote where I can see your credit rating, trend and days to pay. Then once you check out we can move it for you. He said coyote weren't set up on ITS. I replied, your a 2 billion dollar brokerage firm, buying out access America but can't or don't have the ability to post load on internet truck stop?
Im sorry but even though this is only a $600 local load this is sounding more and more fishy. Iv taken chances on small brokers and companies starting out but if you boast about being the second largest broker in the world but can't desplay your rating on ITS then there's something wrong.
I did a quick google search on them and guess what, this thread was the first thing that popped up.
Heres a snapshot of the listing they posted.
Can anyone "OTHER THAN ONE POST WONDERS" shed some light on these guys?

They did buy access America. Why they can't post the load under their name I don't know. I have seen other ones that while being bought they still ran under the old name but the paperwork said "a division of"

Nothing funny at all. We actually have had better luck with Coyote than Access in terms of getting paid.

You need to understand that this is not a small merger with a big company buying a small company. If access wasn't established to go public or be bought they could have just as easily bought Coyote.

The fact that companies of this size are taking a little bit getting all the logistics stuff worked out really isn't a big deal. I am actually impressed that they have the marketing and sales side already working together.

And this is actually pretty big news in the logistics community. You need to get a news bot set-up so that you get this information when it breaks.

Wow, just looking at their (one of 7) contracts they want you to sign they want you to agree to $1pm, two hours for free at loading and two at unloading, detention after that is $25 per hour!
I don't think you would get a taxi for that. Not one of my trucks anyway!
Welcolm to the age of Mega (scammers) Carriers folks, this will be a common thing to see, conning carriers into cheap contracts.

I'd cross out the things you don't like, replace them with your terms, attach any items not covered under their contract, and email em back. If they want the load covered they'll accept your terms.
