Coyote Logistics ?

Just so TTR knows, I have been to this site several times, just the first time I decided to become a user. I am an AMERICAN TRUCKER WIFE as well! Just trying to give info on a company I am familliar with to help a fellow trucker out. It looks like someone was hoping for a negative response so that they had a reason to not get in their truck and drive today. In the future, I would reccomend what I do, check the legal, reputable facts, it is given in the packets they send you, check them out for yourself. Dont ask for an opinion if you dont want to hear the response. (PS I have hauled 30+ Loads for Coyote in just the past 6 months, all paid fair, I got paid for, and any issues I had were promptly and professionally handeled)

That's all fine and dandy Patricia but can you honestly sit there and tell us you decided to come to trucker's report this morning and just happened to see this discussion? Or is it more like we all figured - that someone from Coyote emailed or called and asked you guys to come here and post these comments? Yep, that's what I thought... It might take a few days for regular long time members TTR, who've used Coyotoe in the past, that are trusted members of the forum to give honest feedback. This hook and crook stuff doesn't fly too well. It's like being taken for fools and the end result is that Coyote has tarnished their reputation.

No, Honesly my rep called me and told me someone was inquiring about the compay and said if i had time to check it out, So I did, Because they are a good compay and I thought I would answer with my honest opinion of them. I really dont care if you haul for them or not. You asked for an opinion, so I gave you mine. If you did your own homework and called the numbers on the packet, you would know for yourself, and probably would not be asking for other companys opinions. Just being honest. You want somethong negative about them....One time I had to wait a week for their customer to approve detention, and when that week was up, and I got my detention, it was 15.00 more per hour then I expected to get., so although I waited a week to invoice my load (they said I could do two seperate invoices, one for the line haul, and a later one for detention, and I chose to wait and bill in full) so I guess it worked out better for me...I use Transcor to find my loads on a daily basis as well. You can do a customer search (as well as safersys/safestat provided by DOT) And It will give you all of the companys information with the phone numbers to contact their banks/bond info credit score, days to pay, corprate officers, etc. That iformation is there for you to use.

Same experience with them they also do the same as TQL in posting a bunch of loads from surrounding cities going to the same area even though they have just one load. They pay ok and pay on time.

You people were solicited by CL to come here and inflate their reputation.
I was very interested in seeing "real" comments from "real" people that have been here a while and have an ongoing reputation on these forums. In light of these testimonials from the schills....I'll be pretty sceptical myself until someone I know and trust has some experience with them.

The ones that I usually deal with don't feel the need to run damage control BEFORE the fact.

The man asked a question and was given a load of BS from a bunch of CL schills and was rightfully skeptical about it.

This just leeps getting stranger and stranger with every post....
His obvious point was to get some independant opinions about CL from people that he has had an ongoing relationship with on these boards.

Anybody that forms an opinion of a company by only reading and then believing the information provided by that company is a fool!

Here, I'll help you....He's asking for opinions from people that he's familiar with.
We don't know any of the people that "showed up" here today to tell us that the sun rises and sets on CL and so we are all more than a little bit dubious with regard to the information provided by those people.

You just might be exactly who and what you say you are.....OR.....You you might be some schmoe that CL calls out to feed people BS whenever a question is asked about them on a public forum!

It is NOT up to us to take you at your word on this matter but rather for YOU to gain a reputation here before packing the forum with "canned" responses and veiled insults because we questioned the "canned" responses.

 

Just cause your moving the truck doesn't mean you need to haul cheap freight!

JD, no offense but listening and taking anything anyone says to heart around here is naive! If you did do all your checking about this company and it came back good, then the opinions of a few on here could've persuaded you to avoid this broker and it could cost you to lose out on a lot of freight.

I understand what and why your asking this, but to me the hard facts are more important than the opinionated facts!

As for the miles.... its our job to check that out and tell the broker what we will haul it for. If they can't except your rate, don't take the load. Just about every broker uses shortest miles.

 

I guess I thought the question was if anyone had heard or used them before, not does anyone I know personally and been on this board forever know. Sorry my bad. I guess you have to be on this board constantly to be taken seriously. Im not on the board alot cause I am busy booking loads for my truck and making money. Just have some extra time on my hands cause my truck is moving and booked out thru Tuesday! Good luck and I hope you find what your looking for on here....from 'reputable' carriers.
