New posters on an internet forum have zero credibility. If they happen to be new and only posting good or bad information on one subject then they have less than zero credibility.
If you can't see that a bunch of recommendations coming from people that just signed up with the site is suspicious then I am concerned with your vetting process of brokers. Combine that new posters contradict the limited experience of established posters plus that the company is rated at paying at over 30-days. And all these new post don't pass the smell test.
And add that I have found a couple loads and called on them. Low $1/mile rates are an insult and any broker that would reduce the rate looking for a desperate company should be ashamed. And on the possibility that this is all they have in it then I still question any broker that would bid loads at "fuel money" and never consider them a quality broker.
Sure we have to deal with the bottom feeds on occasion when they get desperate and bring the rate up but we don't have to accept them as a quality broker.

I guess the lengh of time on the forum is more important then the experience, years in business of the carriers responding, and amount of freight hauled for the Broker in the past that is being questioned. Boys are silly! If you question the carrier as well you can always look them up as well http://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/

What is so hard here?

All I was originally looking for was people I might actually know, that might
actually know and have dealt with this broker.
That's all.
Hearing from "single-posters" chiming in about the praises of a company mean utter squat.....
As Bill mentioned before, hearing from people who have been on this forum (more than 1hr) and have experience with the broker is what I was after.
Broker provided documents can be helpful - but word of mouth, from people we know, is the best way to gain knowledge of something or someone.Whistle Pete, 77fib77, BigJohn54 and 4 others Thank this. -
I could only "Thank" you once so here is the second one!
I didn't even notice till I read your post about them being first time posters.
I do agree that does seem fishy.BigBadBill Thanks this. -
Oh you silly boys
. I just can't understand why broker requested testimonials, documents showing they paid a fee and a government website would not be enough to make you feel all warm and fuzzy about this company.
Sure, independent credit sources says they pay slow, but to place more value in them than what I have to say? Just seems that you are all full of testosterone.
I SHOULD HAVE INSTANT CREDIBILITY! I SHOULD, I SHOULD, I SHOULD!

We haul for them every so often. The name kinda does sound fishy but they're straight arrows and pay on time.
BigBadBill and Hanadarko Thank this. -
Hey! It's Hong Kong Fooey!

#1 super guy...
Thanks for the reply - at least I found a few people that have been around here for awhile that chimed in - and maybe over the weekend a few more.
Sad part is that I already tossed the towel in on this venture.

We have been contacted by CL few times, but after doing some research on the rates that they offer, decided to go the other way.
Their employees are bunch of youngsters trying to compete with each other , which all of these 1st post posters proved by even including their contact numbers.
shame, shame
Hanadarko Thanks this. -
Well when a company has the word "Logistics" or "Solutions" in their name, usually it seems it's been a bunch of college kids....
Now, if you get a name like "Logistical Solutions.." - then RUN!
BigBadBill Thanks this. -
Considering filling out the coyote packet..supposedly it was outdated?? Same application I got in the email. Only use for us would be one freight lane that's about it.
