CPAP Tip for O/O

This might be old news for some, but DOT is now requiring a CPAP compliance report with physicals. A lot of carriers already did this but owner ops may not have (or want) someone monitoring their machine. You can print your own report from your machine by using OSCAR, an open-source software. It reads your SD card and makes a lovely report. (if your computer doesn’t have an SD slot, I got a reg/ mini SD to usb plug for $10 at Walmart). I stand corrected. It must be a new requirement for CVS DOT Physicals. In my case, I didn't have a local office. It was being monitored by a 3rd party for my previous employer, so it was much easier to just print the report rather than trying to sign up with a monitoring company or the manufacturer. When I replace my machine, I will probably make sure I am set up with remote monitoring with the manufacturer or their monitoring company. For the time being, however, OSCAR is my friend.
