Or, here's a thought: maybe lose a bunch of weight so you might not need the CPAP machine in the first place.

Unfortunately I have a big neck so that’s a little easier said than done. On a high note the company foots the bill for the CPAP(they own it )so as long as a I use it a minimum of 4 hours it’s all good(I typically use it for 8 hours while sleeping).

    Boondock and JC1971 Thank this.

I know, it's difficult when you're burning zero calories sitting all day.

I also was surprised to learn skinny people get sleep apnea too.

Hey Richard head. I'm 6ft7in and 230lbs. Was 180 in high-school and probably had sleep apnea just as bad then as I do now. Not overweight

I’m down 25 lbs since December (with a goal of losing 50 more), but as has already been mentioned, losing weight might help but is no guarantee of eliminating sleep apnea. I used to work with a guy who had it so bad that he had sleep narcolepsy from it, and he was downright slim.

People have such a prejudice about sleep apnea. Im 6 ft and weighed 180 back when i was diagnosed with severe apnea. No reason to think loosing weight is gonna make a difference now.

I said might. I'm perfectly aware of the fact skinny people can have sleep apnea.

See if you have a Sparklette's or other brand distributor near you. Have it delivered to your home in 3 or 5 gallon bottles. Ends up being cheaper by the gallon that way. My mother has delivery once a month and gets 6 of the 3 gallon reverse osmosis water.
