Arni,
All the best to you. I sincerely hope this works out well for you. I've done a lot of reading about these lease purchase programs, and they just don't sound good to me.
I hope the driver that you're with will be honest, above board in all his business dealings, and will show you how to make this thing work.
Please keep us posted on your progress!

From what I know, which ain't much..Is lease deals are always in the companys favor..Heavy..Now If a guy wants to take a shot at owning his own buisness..Having bad credit and other blemishes probably indicate(not always)he/she will make poor decisions in the future, and may not be the best person to run any buisness.
At the same time this is a free country and you can do or work for who you want.scottied67 and Lonesome Thank this. -
I hate Cr england, they turn me down back in 2002 and for having 2 speeding ticket, I will never work for them or not even think of. they are stupid company as I heard

HMMM, phase II .11 cpm for every mile the truck runs while your driving your so called trainer is racked out in the bunk trying to sleep while a newb is driving
. If you each drive 3000 a week you gross $660
thats some great pay for running your arse off and sharing the truck too! And that dosn't take into consideration the risk you take sleeping while some one else drives. I'm not even gonna go into the fleece program Nuff said

Arni, I wish you luck. But if you choose to enter in a lease with CRE, you will need more than luck. I hope you read all the posts on these boards that referenced their lease program. Its tough for a new guy to make it in a lease program for any company right now.. let alone CRE. I would look at opting out of that while you still can. There is a point of no return. But once again, best of luck to you. I hope it works out. There's just not many CRE success stories out there!

It's actually .22 a mile, it's .11 from the student and .11 when the trainer is driving. The trainer averages about the figures below I have mentioned. I have had three trainers and they all have been very good and not whacked out as you say. Yes there are people who should not be teaching but I have been lucky. All my trainers were making $1,500.00 to $2,200.00 a week I saw the statements. This company is not for seasoned drivers, it's a company that trains drivers and that in itself is to bad, because it could very easily be a top company.
But for me it has been a wonderful chance to get into the business. The ones who are making it it at CRE are not on the computer complaining, they are working. -
So if you have two speeding tickets what does that say about you? When they can hire people with ZERO tickets. They want to hire the best, not someone they will take a chance on, have them get in an accident and kill people (law suite).
BarnDog Thanks this. -
I will keep you informed on how it goes.
