That's what 7 cpm gets you... and $5500 is what I had left after all the normal PMs and such. 7 cpm at 109k is $7,630.

I couldn't care less what you have a hard time believing. They apparently felt the need to repaint the entire rear of the sleeper for $1800... same thing they charged some friends of mine who were leaving CRE, plus all the other silly crap, like replacing all six shocks ($1400), when I'd just been through a DOT w/AZ state troopers, and I'm ASE certified, and NONE of them were leaking or even discolored... and suffice to say, my PTIs are more thorough than most. Plus, the truck was not only CLEAN, since I washed it every couple of weeks (by hand, at my son's in OKC, my place in TX, or my friend's place in PA)... I hand waxed it several times - used to have a detail business back in the day and strongly believe in appearance maintenance.

We can either keep this civilized, without you calling me a liar, or I'll just ignore your posts and keep talking - it's up to you. Personally, like in The Cable Guy.. I don't need another friend.

I've testified under oath over 1,500 times as an expert witness, testified under oath as a military policeman in court martials, and I'm a 32nd degree Freemason, and took an oath and obligation to be honest... so I simply have no reason to lie... Why would they replace/repaint a whole buch of crap without need? They told me that when ours gets turned back in, NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR" is not dealt with. But I guess I'll have to wait and cross that bridge when it gets here.

In a lot of ways, Im sorry that it didnt work out for you, honestly. I just cant wrap my mind around it because although my wife and I arent becoming millionaires, we arent on the verge of homeless-ness, either. We're makin money and if we wernt, we wouldnt be doing it. Simply put.

But as for the question I asked you earlier in my other post, did you come to England as a team with your wife?

Easy, I have 11 pages of repair orders... and I knew there would be a PM, all filters, and 2 tires, since I was there when they were measured - the rest of the $5500 (roughly $4k was pure BS). I went round and round with the service manager, Dave Arko, who stonewalled me once I found out I had been a service manager, was ASE certified, etc... and immediately referred me to the legal department.... and they basically said "either sue us or forget it", since no one was about to justify all of the extra "repairs".

It certainly DOES matter - here, or on any forum. I've had things I've posted abotu a Hyundai car - casual opinions, brought up in a trial 4 years later. Everything I post can be found, copied and pasted... and if what I say could be disproved, I'd be out of a career, as well as causing major damage to all of the cases I've been involved in. So yes, it does matter here, and I take it very seriously.

I joined up as my wife finished a contract job in Idaho, then joined me a month later, to answer your question.

 

Last I checked.. I believe this is the bad company forum. It's meant to post bad things about companies to warn prospective drivers.

 

So that is the burden of proof here? Say what you want and someone has to prove it's wrong?

Ronin, I just noticed something about Maspeth on your post's. I remember every week when I was running up to NY I would park in Maspeth and sleep over night up there. Drove an old Mack cabover.

 

Trucking companies are desperate for drivers. They will need over 50,000 new drivers over the next 24 months. They are going to have to come up with better training, better pay and a lot more consideration for the driver, his life and his family.
