CR England does it again!

I don't know about tarnishing Werners rep but she certainly makes the industry look bad.

 

Not sure about tarnishing a rep that was tarnished long ago.

 

You guys need to relax, she works for Werner and, it's a well known fact that Werner is probably the best co. In the country (with the best training) to work for, she obviously knows what's safe and what isn't. You guys are just jealous you're not working for such a prestigious company!

reminds me of a woman i met at orientation who sidled up next to me in class with her shiny new cdl and charming ways and asked me sweetly what are spring brakes

i kind of lost my mind for a second and then threw up in my mouth a little and immediately went to the instructor and asked is she for real, he only tried to talk me into teaming with her

no, dude, i would never be able to sleep in that truck

it was a rude awakening and i am much more cynical about the feeder truck companies now: getting a cdl and then getting seated in a truck at a mega company is too easy at these companies and many skate through the dmv and hiring process, it borders on endangering the public but i struggle not to be too harsh here because it is possible i was not a very impressive permit holder as well

 

I wonder if the OP (trainee) would be shocked to know that just last week I was rolling into El Paso and had to take the shoulder because a big truck , who had a long line of sight, pulled a U turn on the 10 and got his landing gear caught up about 3/4 of the way around, blocked all four lanes, but must have been safe 'cause they could see for miles.

 

gotta admit keeping tabs on this thread is like watching a train wreck and I have always had a low opinion of large fleet trainers but I would luv the chance to buy Driveit's trainer a good steak and a couple of beers because this story has to be legendary!

 

I would be willing to bet Driveit's trainer would buy you that steak dinner and a couple of shots to chase the beer to help him get her off of his truck...

 

True,it wasn't the better of the starter companies back in 2002 when that was my first company.But I was in it for the exp.

 

You can be sure that's pretty much a safe bet,lol.

 

I'm thinken that is one meal he well deserves.
