i was thinking the same thing
i have done that myself, many a time, once in KY 75 was backed up for miles
i looked at the map, found a good go around and was on my way
smooth sailing for about 10miles.except there was a closed bridge on a small road.............long story short, i had to drive about 20more miles out of the way just to get back to civilizlation
total tourism time, about an hour
i should have stayed in the backup, would have burned a lot less fuel
CR England does it again!

I agree, ive seen some real Werner winners on the road.
DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
I'll say this with respect, you should stop making insulting comments about other drivers. You're not even a newbie yet but a trainee. This England could have missed his turn.I noticed there was a road turning right as you drive down the frontage road, maybe that's where the customer was located. He did a fine job backing. Was cautious and took it nice and slow.Ive done that, miss my turn and backed up as long as it was a quiet road.
DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
Where I live, I've seen a lot of trucks pulled over just because their smarty little gps say take the short cut on PA 144 in order to reach to northbound I-99 quickly. A mountain pass between Centre Hall and Pleasant Gap is restricted for trucks that are above 10 tons. Most of them are Central and CR England.
DoneYourWay and DriveItUSA Thank this. -
When I was a trainee then newbie I never acted like I knew everything and to this day I still don't act like I know it all.I might give advice if they ask and of course I do a fantastic job giving opinions, lol. But for someone like this England driver I would not be quick to judge.Ive seen plenty of blunderheads on the road and the majority were either trainees or newbies but never made fun of them and never will because I know whats its like to be on that side of the fence.

Why drivers solely depend on the GPS is beyond me.Some common since goes along with it which too many lack in this industry.
