Well, I could be in Europe. LOL
To me "North America" is all one country when it comes to driving. Just a big hassle along the 50th parallel.
And yes, I was raised right. Although, my attitude plays a lot into it. When I was younger (around high school age) I didn't know what hard work was and just expected everything be handed to me/fall into my lap. Life worked that out for me though.
CR England fired me

We all go through growth spurts. It wasn't long ago (couple years maybe) that I did a 180 with a loaded trailer on I-95 in Florida I wasn't distracted, it was pure equipment failure. But it didn't take me long to acknowledge the fact that I was asking more from my equipment than It was able to give. My fault. My truck had been dropped from a lift and bent a rim, the tire dismounted (single rear wheel) at 65-70mph with a loaded trailer. The ### end of my truck went left then right. There was no controling it. My fault. If I had proper equipment for the load I was hauling it would have never happened. If I had done a proper pre trip, it would have never happened. There's no way to blame anyone but myself. Thank God no one was hurt. I'm proud to say I haven't taken that chance with the lives of the people around me since. And won't. None of us are perfect, but some of us are willing to look at ourselves and others aren't.
There's a several thousand year old saying that goes:
"The only thing required of a man to step from the darkness into the light is a willingness to seek the truth, usually about oneself. "Zeviander and MidWest_MacDaddy Thank this.
