Don't know, but drivers like him are one of the reasons companies are installing driver facing cameras and listening devices. He can cost a trucking company millions of dollars in a lawsuit and the trail lawyers have all the evidence on film. I believe in cutting lots of slack for drivers that make mistakes, but making videos and talking to a camera while driving is not mistake; it's deliberate.

 

These guys are unbelievable! Like those idiots in Chicago who tortured that kid on Facebook live. It didn't occur to them they would be digging their own grave with the video?

 

Unless the feds step in with charges, they'll probably get off pretty light. Chicago judges are a major part of the problem causing crime there.

 

May need to take a break for a while till things settle down keep knocking keep looking someone may give you a go although it could be for insurance reasons that they won't hire you.

 

Try Schneider. Yet if you did something really offensive, good luck finding any work. Prime hires almost anyone and you wont be able to be accused of having a lead foot. All their trucks are governed to 55.

Your advice was worthless....... he already made the mistakes, the advice he needs is how to get pass his vlog problem and get re-hired again!! He might want to look into his CSA score, DAC report, DMV record, anything that could affect him from getting another driving job. Sometimes it could take months or years to clear off a record. Just have to be patience!

 

I have considered it but can't ever think of anything as far as topics I am knowledgeable enough about. but I would just set camera and forget then go back remove audio file and replace to add commentary... You know the way driving videos should be done
