Everyone seems different after training... no Guarranteey

Ya my phase 1 trainer did not teach me to back at all. Since the shoe is on the other foot now I make sure all my students can back properly. You can tell a lot about a trainer by how well their student can handle a backing maneuver.

Did my phase 1 and 2 and then bounced to make better money

I'm supposed to leave Saturday to go to Richmond, IN for 3 weeks. I won't be leasing. I'm curious though, and my recruiter doesn't seem to have answers.
1. As a female student, will I receive a female trainer? Doesn't matter to me, or my husband, just curious.
2. From the time that I leave Saturday, the 3 weeks of classes, how long should I expect it to take before I make it back home? -
2 3-4 months before u go home for 2 days -
If you want a female trainer you can. we didn't get any time off after training.
It is a wild ride. stay strong. -

i just did 6 months with CRE. I don't make much but they got me started. They were clear and upfront with me about what they wanted and what to expect:
1) Lease and train and if you want good pay right away
2) Expect to get crappy runs your first couple months out of school. But, with just a little a little seniority and good performance, the runs get better.
To my eye, the people who fail at CRE deserve to fail. My biggest complaint about CRE is that they don't fire nearly enough of the lazy, incompetent people who come through the school.
They told me straight up and many times not to expect big wages the first six months or a year. My trainers told me, truthfully, that other companies will pay more but that is commensurate with experience and to make a significant step up we need to put in a full year at with one employer.
I think the administrative people at CRE (training coordinators, driver managers, planners, etc.) are professional and conscientious. They do there best with the entry-level drivers they must work with. So, I am patient.
I have figured out there are no shortcuts; the best we can do is to keep learning, be as mature and professional as we know how and develop a plan for our future in this business. There is a lot of demand and opportunity in this industry and I am happy to b off to a good start. Though it is difficult sometimes to be patient.russellkanning Thanks this. -
I am currently employed with England and have gotten my year in with them as a company driver . The schooling is very fast paced.I'm talking two days of in a classroom and then to take the permit exam and then depending on if you come in on a holiday it is either a two day backing course and then backing test or three days of training and then the backing test . After the backing range its four days of actual driving and then a road test. As for do they teach backing yes they do, however most of the time the will put students onto a truck that are on a dedicated and most of those are nothing but straight line backs and after they are off the truck they think they can back and go off to lease a truck only knowing how to straight line back. As for not having a company truck that's a load of bs, you have to stick to your guns about it though . I only had to wait like three or four days to get my company truck. England does have their ups and downs .
