You can make it on a lease purchase program if you keep your truck at about 60 instead of 75mph,turn the engine off when stopped,
Don't fuel all the way up at fuel stops, and if you can't change gears smooth don't lease because you will spend your
Whole paycheck on maint. Cost.there are a lot more things to help you make it,just don't have the time to list them.
Don't sign a lease if you are fresh out of school.drive the company truck and rip the trans. Out of it so it doesn't
    Cost you money.

That's unfortunate for the trainer...Studend wakes up in the middle of the night and starts to get out of the truck, Trainer wakes, "Where are you going?", I hafta pee! Ok, Trainer falls back asleep and the loser student goes out and gets drunk....

Especially at England, They'll hire any homless moron they can find and promise him the world just to get him to sign on so they can get those government dollars!

It's England, No ones going over 62 MPH.

And you have less than a year driving ...

Have you "made it"? How would you know what it takes to "make it"?

Since you have only one post - why don't you explain further?

I worked for england for 1 year and leased a truck with them. I never had too many problems and made
About 500-800 per week after expenses taken out. I recently quit england because I took a job at roehl
Transport for better hometime.roehl is a far better company but its not that easy to get hired with them.
I did not go to englands school I had 4 months exp. With a private company before I went there. I have
About 2 years exp now but it just says 0-1 on here plus I drove a truck in the army for 8 years.
If I had it to do over I would have went strait to roehl in the first place.

    zentrucking Thanks this.

Ok, I've had some bad pay weeks.

But happy at 500 - 800 a week as an L/O and you were happy?

    I would be real sad.

Company drivers on the most cases make that and they do not have the hassles of making the payments..
I just about bet you will make more than that at the other company driving their trk.

Yea I make about 1200-1400 per week with roehl as a flatbed company driver. And I was happy
With making that small amount because it was enough to pay my bills and keeping my family food
    On the table.

Hi MLD, Glad to hear it's working out for.

Enjoy the hassles of not having to pay the bills on the trk. Yet?

Sometimes I think about selling my trk/ trl. and going back company, but no I just keep pluging along..

Been O/O to long now I guess..
Any how glad to hear it's working good for you.
