You'll need it.joseph1135 Thanks this. -
He's got a point. If you still go after all of this, then it's on you and there's no help for you. We warned you. You've seen the threads.

This. This is why this industry is down the toilet. Right here.blairandgretchen, Joetro and Stile Thank this.

That's no excuse. None at all. Another coming to trucking as a last resort, doing the bare minimum to get into a job. Another one coming in and dragging down wages for the 6 months he lasts in the industry and the big mega getting more of our tax dollars for another sucker born.Stile, Joetro and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Nope...I disagree....I think this is (might be a graduate from CR):

Since I like you and respect what you say,im going to say this with respect.Joesph you've always been negative towards the newbies and their choice in companies no matter who they go with,so with respect I know England is one of the worst but his mind is already made.So providing England takes him without a diploma, can't you at least try and be a little supportive?Subsidy isn't the only thing the tax payers are paying and England isn't the only company that takes advantage of the subsidy program.John is well aware of what England is like and going their with open eyes if they accept him that is.I really hope he succeeds but won't sympathize if they send him packing after a few weeks or he leaves on his own free will. There is nothing we can say to get him to change his mind. The thing I don't agree with about his decision is he hasn't thought it thru long enough. Most the newbies don't think it thru. With John he has no diploma which will in time really put a damper on getting hired when he leaves England if they accept him that is.I wanna make sure to add IF because not having a diploma in my opinion is a stupid thing because if they quit school how do we know they won't quit trucking.A diploma shows comittment.I personally think John should do it the right way and go back and get his GED then think about joining the industry.

The problem we have with threads like these is that they come on here, ask advice, we give advice, they ignore said advice and get indignant when called on it. Then, a few weeks later, we get another thread about how horrible the experience was when they get on here and complain about a situation we told them would happen.
Same story. Different author.otherhalftw Thanks this.
